Polarized lenses
Polarized lenses have a special filter that blocks the harsh glare reflected from flat surfaces such as roads, car bonnets and water.
Who they suit
- Drivers.
- People near water or in strong sun for long periods.
- Anyone who finds ordinary sunglasses still too glary.
Good to know
- Polarizing is separate from UV protection. Look for UV400 as well. Our UV protection guide explains the labels.
- Some phone, car and ATM screens can look dim or patchy through polarized lenses.
- Polarized lenses are available for sunglasses, and we can discuss prescription sunglasses on WhatsApp.
