Buying glasses online in Pakistan

Buying glasses online is convenient, especially if you live far from an optician. It works best when you prepare a few things and know what to check. This guide explains how it works in Pakistan.

Before you order

• Your prescription. If you want prescription lenses, have it ready. Read how to read your eye prescription. If it is more than a year or two old, book an eye test.
• Your PD. Measure it with our PD tool if it is not on your prescription.
• A frame size that fits. Compare with glasses you already wear. See how to find your frame size.

Choose frames and lenses

The price shown on a frame is for the frame only. Lenses are extra and depend on your prescription and options. Read types of eyeglass lenses and how to choose glasses frames. See prices on glasses price in Pakistan and lens prices.

Payment options

Common options in Pakistan are cash on delivery, JazzCash, Easypaisa and bank transfer. Check the account details against the seller’s website. Anwar Optical lists them on its payment methods page.

Delivery

Delivery charges and times vary by city. We deliver across Pakistan, and show the charge at checkout. See areas we serve and delivery and returns.

Returns: read them first

Policies differ, so read them before you pay. At Anwar Optical, a frame bought on its own can be exchanged and you pay the delivery. Glasses ordered with lenses cannot be returned or exchanged. If there is a mistake in the lens power on our side, we replace the lenses and pay the delivery. See our full terms.

A checklist for any online shop

• It shows a real address and phone number.
• It confirms your prescription with you before making your lenses.
• It shows clear prices and states whether lenses are included.
• It explains its return and exchange rules.
• It has real customer contact on WhatsApp or by phone.

Be careful when prices are very low, or when a seller asks you to pay in full into a personal account without a website or address.

Try before you buy

If you are near Karachi, you can try frames on at our counter in Shah Faisal Colony and have them adjusted.
